Rotarian Bill Rucker from Roborough Rotary Club in Devon is the current winner of the highest number of donated Memory Boxes prize.  He managed to retrieve enough reminiscence memorabilia from his fellow Rotarians to create three new boxes which have all been donated to Memory Cafes in the area.  RIBI President Jim Moulson was on hand to see some of Bill's handiwork during a recent visit to the Roborough Club.

Memory Boxes containing objects from the past can act as triggers to memory and release reminiscences, providing a wonderfully effective therapeutic tool for people with dementia.

REPoD is supplying starter packs containing a selection of replica items from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, together with a copy of the Rotary REMIND singalong CD and a guide to building your own Memory Box.
