Financial & Legal Advice

Financial and legal advice for the care of the elderly and for people suffering with dementia related diseases is a very specialist area and not one that REPoD would directly get involved in.

There are however organisations that offer specific advice in these areas and who are controlled by their industry specific regulatory authorities.

The inclusion of the specific organizations below does not imply any particular recommendation on the part of REPoD and are given purely for your convenience.

Financial advisors

This financial aadvice organisation is called SOLLA (Society of Later Life Advisors); you can use their 'Find and Adviser' page to locate your nearest accredited Adviser.

Dispelling the myth - the maximum I will spend on care will be £72,000.

Whether you're looking ahead or have a loved one in need of care, we at Just Retirement believe it is important to understand what you will be required to pay towards the cost of care under the Care Act 2014.

The complete article can be downloaded as a PDF file.

REPoD gratefully acknowledge Just Retirment from whose magazine this article came.
